THE MAKING OF AWESOMENESS -

Okay! First off – this is the way that I make jello shots. It’s not the only jello shot recipe and it might not be the best out there. Any variations or preferences are your choice.

Preparing the shots:
First thing first. Set your area up. Make sure you have everything you need before you start mixing shit together. If you got sugar-free jello, like a dumbass, then no worries. All you have to do is add your own sugar. There will be instructions on the box as to how much you are supposed to add.
Start boiling a pot of water once you have all your "tools" ready.

The thing about jello shots is.... if they are made the right way - you aren't supposed to really taste the alcohol. So buying cheap vodka not only saves you alot of money, but no one will notice the difference.

Pull the trays or racks out and set them on the counter.
Then put your little plastic shot glasses evenly on them.
Now - take the PAM cooking spray and spray the cups evenly.
Make sure you coat the inside of the cups, not your counter tops.
All you need is a little bit, this makes it so the jello shot pops out fairly easy.
Your friends won't have to use toothpicks and forks to get anything out.

Once you've coated your little plastic shot glasses, you're ready to start mixing.

Now, depending on how much jello you have, you can either cut the amount of water in half.. (Half water & half liquor) or if you don't want them that strong, you can tweak it yourself.
If anything - make the shots with equal parts water and liquor. For recipe's sake we will assume it's 2 1/2 cups of water required.

Pour the jello in your mixing bowl.
Measure out 1 1/2 cups of boiling water and pour it in the mixing bowl.
Now measure out 1 cup of your liquor. We'll say it's vodka.
Heat your vodka for !!no longer!! than ONE minute in the microwave.
Mix your liquor in with the water and jello.
Mix it together for at least 3 minutes.

Next! Take a measuring cup.. WITH A LITTLE SPOUT and scoop out your jello shot "mixture." Pour it slowly into the greased shot glasses.

After you have filled all the cups you greased, move the trays slowly into the fridge to cool. They should be ready within 3 hours.
